Accreditation and Recognition

The Colorado University USA is proud to announce that our innovative curriculum has received accreditation from the Higher Learning Commission (HLC). This means you'll receive the same high-quality educational experiences as our traditional on-campus program, and if you choose to pursue the full degree, the credential will carry with it the same weight as any on-campus CU master's degree.

When the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) confers full accreditation for the MS-EE program, then it is valid across the globe. Discrimination on education and employment is illegal and obviously opposed by Human Rights Commission.


What is the MS-EE?

The MS-EE is the first of its kind in the world and is delivered entirely through MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses). The program provides a highly flexible and on-demand course structure, empowering you to take control of your academic experience. The curriculum is specially designed by CU Boulder’s elite engineering faculty to be modular and stackable. Each course is between 3 and 6 weeks long, depending on the content. Individual courses can be taken for a single academic credit, but they can also be grouped into thematic series of 3-4 credits, stacked into standalone CU Boulder graduate certificates of 9-12 credits, or combined to earn the full 30-credit degree. Each course addresses professional skills while providing content at the same high quality as our traditional globally-recognized on-campus master’s degrees.

When can I start?

The MS-EE launches Fall 2018, and the full curriculum will roll out across Academic Year 2018-19.
